Silhouette Pumpkins
Photograph your subject from the side. Scale the photo as necessary, then cut out the profile. Trace and cut the profile from black craft paper. Using Mod Podge, adhere the cutout to a white paper circle cut to fit the interior of a black doily. Secure the unit to the pumpkin. Glue some trim to the edge of the white paper.

Saving Face
Cameo cookies make for a spooky-sweet party favor. Use a silhouette-shaped cookie cutter to cut the cameo outline from slice-and-bake sugar cookie dough. Then, just bake according to the direction. Once cool, apply white royal icing to the portrait and “frame,” it. Coat with sparkling black sanding sugar, shaking off any excess.
