12. You Couldn’t Google Anything
80s babies knew that if they wanted to get information for school or hobbies, they had to put in some elbow grease to obtain it.
Kids back then had to walk in a bookstore, visit the library, or get books from older relatives. If you got lost, there was no Google Maps available. You had to memorize the home phone number and go to the nearest pay phone to find directions. Or you had to visit the store’s lost and found to get assistance.
