8. Give Your Child More Independence
The purpose of parenting is to raise mature and self-sufficient adults, and this often starts with kindergarten. Let him practice with putting his own clothes although you can supervise along the way. Have him open and close the refrigerator by himself, and let him get his own snacks from the jar so that he’ll gradually learn independence.
