9. Focus on Problem Solving Skills
As your child enters kindergarten, he’ll have opportunities to showcase his problem-solving skills. Give him an early start by buying some toys that promote problem-solving skills. These might include puzzles, pretend playsets, math games, word games, and building toys such as trucks or dollhouses. If your child is easily frustrated, then show him the appropriate ways to handle frustration.
