13. Teach Basic Manners
Older generations are often offended by the lack of manners that many younger persons exhibit. Make sure you teach your child the importance of phrases such as “Please”, “Excuse me”, “Thank you”, and “May I do such and such?” When your child is in school, he will interact with adults and kids on a regular basis. If he knows some basic manners, it will go a long way.
