If you enjoy helping people buy and sell homes, then you can work as a real estate agent. Real estate agents’duties include finding clients for buying or selling homes, hosting open house events for buyers, advising sellers and buyers, presenting and negotiating offers between sellers and buyers, and preparing documents for closings.
Many real estate agents work with established agencies but others eventually start their own. To enter this industry, you’ll need a high school diploma along with state-approved courses. After this happens, you would take a licensing exam. The Bureau of Labor Statistics says that an agent can earn between $45,000 and $109,000 per year.
