Sheila Lirio Marcelo
Another mother providing help, advice, and work to other mothers, Sheila Lirio Marcelo is the founder of Care.com.
Her work as a management consultant and teaching fellow at Harvard University provided her with some of the experience she needed to found Care.com back in 2006. The rest of that experience came from balancing her professional life with her parenting life.

Since Care.com made its debut 13 years ago, it has grown to over 10 million users worldwide.
The company’s goal is to provide help make it easier for those who need it to find child and elderly care, and to manage issues related to caregiving in any capacity.
To maintain their mission of maintaining a work-life balance for their clients and their employees, Care.com also offers part and full-time remote jobs.
