Just like being too risky or too much of a party girl, piercings may make you seem immature or too reckless to most men.

Men like smart women, right? Lora Park, a professor at the University of Buffalo, psychology professor Ariana Young of California Lutheran University and psychology professor Paul Eastwick of the University of Texas conducted three studies. And they revealed a shocking truth. According to their research, men appeared to be attracted to smart women, but only from a distance. Sadly, this is due to ingrained gender roles in some men.
