Spronk said she “put the finishing touches on it last week,” and then posted photos of the results on her Facebook page, some of which were taken by professional photographer Charlotte Jalvingh.
Who wouldn’t want to study here am I right? People were quite impressed with Spronk’s labor of love, though the reaction that mattered most to her was, of course, Willow’s.
“She loves her room, and she is absolutely radiating with joy that so many strangers on the internet love it so much as well,” she said.
“It took ages and hard work, but you don’t need to buy expensive official merchandise from Pottery Barn to create a Harry Potter room,” Spronk said. And besides, it’s more fun and rewarding to do it yourself.
She hope her creativity will help inspire other parents to add a little pizzazz to their children’s bedrooms for old times sake. Now that was cool!
