5. Super Soakers
Super Soakers were a great way to have fun with friends on a summer day. Rocket scientist Lonnie Johnson came up with the device after working on a heat pump system.
Johnson sold the idea to Larami Toys, who released the Super Soaker 50. Over the years, the Super Soaker brought in $1 billion in total sales.
