If you have a knack for styling hair, then you can work as a hairdresser. You would work mostly in a salon full-time or on a part-time basis depending on the number of clients you have during the week. Another idea would be to open your own hair salon. Every state requires hairdressers and barbers to be licensed. You would generally obtain training at an accredited cosmetology school or cosmetology program at a vocational school. You can also get hands-on training with an established stylist in addition to your education. Once you receive the training, you would pass a state licensing exam. Hair stylists earn up to $18.00 per hour according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

17. Virtual Assistant

Virtual assistants are hired to complete tasks that are similar to that of a secretary who works in an office. The only difference is that you are performing them online. The good thing about this job is that you can set your own hours, and the pay varies by company.
